    Yesterday Today Tomorrow is a star-studded family drama filled with obligatory twists and turns. But it clearly belongs to Maricel Soriano, who’s most deserving of her best actress award.

     

    Maricel plays Mariel, the eldest child and successor of TV network magnate Donald Montes (Ronaldo Valdez). She’s tough on her brother Jacob (Jericho Rosales) and most especially on her half-sister Selene (Solenn Heussaff) who both work under her supervision. She’s harsh to her ex-husband Gary (Gabby Concepcion) and to his current wife Charlotte (Carla Abellana). She’s also overprotective of and has high expectations from her daughter Eunice (Eula Caballero).

    The Panday series is one of the country's biggest film
    franchises. Taken from Carlo J. Caparas's popular comics series in the
    1970s, Panday has been immortalized in the Filipino mind as its own
    legendary hero, one who is destined to save mankind from eternal evil.

    The first Panday movies in the early 1980s, starring Fernando Poe Jr.,
    were big hits. This led Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. to revive the series

    Those who buy tickets to Enteng ng Ina Mo know exactly what to expect: a family-friendly movie that has the right mix of fantasy and comedy. The story may not be very innovative, but that does not matter. What matters is that you come out of the cinema laughing.
