Yes, PEPsters, to those who have been wondering—our Regine-Piolo interview was taped and the one for The Buzz was live. Magkalayo ang studios namin so one of interviews should be taped for the convenience of Regine and Piolo. At para hindi naman sila tumatakbo from one studio to another.
Siyempre pa, isinabay ng The Buzz ang live nila sa tape namin para pandagdag sa media mileage ng promo ng movie. Maski ang mga commercials ay ganyan din, so majority ng televiewers that day would not miss the airing of the commercial. Imagine, napapanood ka sa dalawang network!
Before my interview with Ethel Booba, I did my homework. I called all our common friends, and asked them about Ethel’s accident and her break-up with Alex Crisano.
To my surprise, they told me na hindi naman daw naaksidente si Ethel at talagang naka-sked lang for surgery. But they confirmed na hiwalay na nga raw siya sa jowa niyang si Alex.
Ang tanong, bakit sinasabi ni Ethel na naaksidente raw siya? A source told me na hindi pa raw tapos si Ethel sa shooting niya ng pelikula niyang My Kuya’s Wedding with Regal Films.
Malamang magalit daw ang Regal ‘pag nalamang hindi naman siya naaksidente pero nagpabago siya ng itsura. Paano nga naman daw ang mae-establish na continuity sa istorya kung magbabagong-anyo si Ethel? Exciting, hindi ba? Abangan…

I used to have a size 24 waist line, now it’s 34. Before, my fashion style was weird, outrageous and flamboyant. Now, as my stylist John Paul Dizon puts it, it’s “edgy tailored look.†I worked in ABS-CBN for 13 years, and now I’m a proud Kapuso. Before, I hated guys who are gays in the closet. Now, I call them my anak-anakan and understand them completely. Dati ang akala ko, pwedeng ma-in love ang isang straight guy sa bading kaya puro mga straight ang jinowa ko.
Mali ako ng akala. Now, naghahanap ako ng ka-date na gay din!

A friend of mine told me before not to befriend this actress-TV host. I might get in trouble daw because she has a reputation of changing friends ‘pag sawa na siya. Now, that friend is the best friend of that actress-TV host. He was even hired to work in one of her empires. In fairness to my friend, I did get in trouble nung naging kaibigan ko yung actress-TV host.
My friend Ogie Diaz said daw in one of his articles that he likes The Buzz better than Showbiz Central. The other day, he was applauding Showbiz Central for getting his side regarding the Ryan Agoncillo and the STD rumor. You’re welcome, Ogie. You are still a friend. I hope that won’t change.
Bata pa lang ako, honest na ako. I remember pinagalitan ako ng Nanay ko noon when I told her co-teacher that she’s fat. Sabi ng Nanay ko mag-sorry daw ako. I approached her co-teacher crying and saying, “Sorry po, pero mataba naman po talaga kayo”. Naloka ang Nanay ko! If I’d be in the same scenario now, I would have kept my mouth shut.
I used to have a little sister na inayos ko ang buhay. He’s one of my gay friends na younger sa akin. Talagang kapatid na ang turing ko sa kanya at ate naman ang turing niya sa akin. He would tell me before to break up with my ex na dating callboy. Last year, he had sex with him at ginawa pang boyfriend. Sampalin ko nga.
What I’m doing now is a self-check. All my positive traits, I am making sure that I retain them. Pagdating naman sa Sweet list of all my nega traits, I am trying very hard to change them.
Honestly, it is very difficult, but I think I am on the right track. One thing I learned is that people change, and I learned that the hard way. Ang delikado—yung iba for the better, but yung iba for the worst. I am no exemption. Dapat pino-police natin ang ating sarili all the time.

YANI, ang alam kong boyfriend ni Bea Alonzo ay si Mico Palanca. Break na ba sila? Gustuhin ko mang i-confirm sa inyo na sina Nora Aunor at Nori Sayo ay ikinasal talaga, e, baka ma-demanda naman ako. Kasi libelous iyon kung hindi totoo. E, kung hindi libelous, dapat umamin na sila or may nagsulat at nagsabi na ng article na walang word na “daw” or “diumano.”
Nori is a very good person. I got the chance to know her when I was with Showbiz Lingo, and interviewed Malu Barry na alaga niya dati. Nag-bonding din kami sa Bituin, co-starred by Nora Aunor and Carol Banawa, when I became part of the cast.
Mga solid Noranians ang mga kaibigan ko and they like her. They know that Nori takes care of Ate Guy in the States. Kung ako si Ate Guy at minamahal ako ng sobra ng isang lesbian, I would marry her too.

NITZ 10, hindi ako mahilig sa books. Nabasa ko pa lang na mga books ay “Chicken Soup for the Soul†at siyempre ang Holy Bible—iyan ang nagpabait sa akin. Love ko ang “X-men†comics, “ZsaZsa Zaturnnah†at “Pugad Baboy.†Mahina ako sa visualization kaya dapat ang binabasa ko ay may picture. Mas mahilig akong mag-watch ng sine.

STRAUB 14, the last time when I saw Sonny Maque was when I was on board a PAL (Philippine Airlines) flight going to San Francisco three years ago. I know that he is married and has a beautiful daughter. Yes, he used to be one of my college crushes. Kilig. Last time I heard from him, he told me he lives in Las Pinas with his family.
Harlene is fine. He is happily married to Romnick Sarmenta. She has three kids now—Abija (fathered by Showbiz Central director Rico Gutierrez), Zekie, and Bohdana (with Romnick). They have a café-bar-resto in Kamuning corner T. Gener named Kafebaresto. Madalas ako dun.
To those who are asking, I’m in GRAFFiTi every night. It’s my last stop before going home. I’m at Klownz Quezon Avenue every Monday and Klownz Araneta every Sunday. P150 yata ang entrance.
