I've been reading the news, blogs etc... and oftentimes it frustrates me that people's warped sense of morality has overshadowed the real issue i.e. these women (Katrina, Maricar et al) are violated. If people keep on judging them, blaming them and labeling them as immoral, then they simply join the likes of Kho, Belo, Eric Chua, Bistek, Princess, whose sense of morality has plummeted to its lowest ebb. What right do these people (Belo and gang) have to invade someone's privacy? What right do this people have to sentence someone (Katrina, Maricar et al) to life for the wrong they think these girls have done to them? Since when is sleeping with someone's boyfriend a crime liable to a life sentence? Should someone's ex-girlfriend (Maricar) be shamed for life just because the women in this gang were insecure of her beauty and her talent and the boys in this gang were not able to sleep with her? I apologise if I am carried away by my sentiments, but I am also a woman and a mother. I cry for Katrina who has to lose face just because she has loved someone. I cry for Maricar who has to leave the country and hide elsewhere just because she too has loved this someone.
