Products I swear by

Heard it through the grapevine that the upcoming boxing match of Manny Paquiao and  Ricky Hatton will not push through.

That’s because the results of Manny Paquiao’s blood test indicated traces of Alaxan, San Miguel beer, Thunder energy drink, Mc Donald’s and even spare parts from TM Mobile, Nike, and Magic Sing.

JOKE!

Mula ulo hanggang paa, libre!

Di ba lagi niyong naririnig sa mga  TV hosts, “I’d like to thank Funeraria Paz for my make-up and Mila’s lechon for my lipstick…tienes chuva-ever…”

At  “in fairness,” napapagkasya niya lahat sa loob ng isang minuto including the salon—located in Timog, Salon Excellente—that we both endorse.

But there are lots of other products that celebrities use that do not actually endorse. I think these are the products that any Tom, Dick and Harry, Amy, Suzy and Tessie want to hear about. Because these are the products that WE ACTUALLY USE. Here’s a list of  products I use from head to toe, externally and internally. But before I give the list, let me answer a PEPster’s question that is related to my topic.

Comment by jing/ February 10, 2009 @ 11:57 am

hello! first time ko mag-comment dito although i always read your blog eversince you started dito sa pep. honestly, nakakatuwa mga blog mo, informative and helpful pa. napanood ko kayo ng husband mo sa rated k ni korina sanchez about your pregnancy. inspired lang kami ng husband ko sa story mo. 12 years na kaming kasal ng husband ko, at wala pa rin kaming baby. i wish na magkaroon din kami, SANA! nasabi mo doon na may difficulty ang husband mo about the sperm, i think slow ang movement. sori di ko alam yong medical term nya. anyway, pareho sila ng husband ko, kaya kinuha namin number nong gamot na ginamit nyo, enduranz. nagpatingin kami sa doctor, oks naman ako, yon lang talaga problem.i hope you could share more about that topic, kasi na-inspire talaga kami ng asawa ko. pwede ba ms g? we really wanted to have a baby, di pa naman kami nawawalan ng pag-asa, prayers lang talaga. but gusto rin naming try yong gamot. can i have your email add para naman i can ask some more questions about the medicine? thank you so much.

I told Emil to research on natural/herbal meds to increase his sperm motility and he found through his research that the ginseng Tongkat ali improved sperm motility. We then imported from Dubai this herbal medicine called Phtyo Andro, which contained the ginseng Tongkat Ali. It was very expensive since I would have to order online and the product has to be shipped to the Philippines from Dubai.

My husband found out from a friend that Tongkat ali was being sold here in the form of a capsule called Enduranz, and it’s only for 20 pesos per capsule!

After my miscarriage, we stopped using Phyto Andro and switched to the cheaper and more accessible alternative: Enduranz.

Ngayon, they’re inviting us to endorse the product, pinag-iisipan pa namin.

Kaya to PEPster Jing, I hope this advise might help you. Nga pala, Enduranz is only for men ha. Baka inumin mo, Jing…eh, wala ka namang sperm. Unless kelangan mong magmumog. Hahaha! Joke!

Dami ko pang nababasang questions sa blog ko like what I use for my skin, my hair, make-up, bags…puwes eto ang mga kasagutan, and I’m sure even the men will be interested.

HEAD TO FOOT: (externally)

Why is your hair so thick and your skin so smooth?

Virgin Coconut Oil. I personally use Carica kasi walang amoy. Ginagamit ko rin siya all over my body because according to research, Virgin Coconut Oil is the only oil/moisturizer that can be absorbed by the body. Si Angel aquino ang nagsabi niyan sa akin and I verified it by researching in the net. Para di malagkit ang feeling, after taking a bath, don’t wipe off with a towel. Spread the oil all over your body and hair, then towel off. When I’m abroad during winter, I put lotion after the coco oil to avoid dry skin and the winter itch. I usually use Galderma Lotion.

I also taught my husband to use virgin coconut oil on his face after washing it.

Why do stay so thin and sexy?

I don’t eat white rice. I eat brown rice. I got the habit when Gretchen Barreto invited me for lunch at her home in Makati.

Then I noticed my best friend Hobbie started to lose two pounds a month. She buys her brown rice in Tiendesitas.

Try to avoid the three M’s—Manok, Maka, Mamoy—mara malusog at malingkinitan ang iyong matawan!

You can’t stay fit by eating brown rice alone. I also do my work-out in Slimmers kahit na buntis ako. I hire a personal trainer. Kaya useless ang work-out. My personal trainer Ian charges 250-450 pesos depending if you are in time whenever Slimmer’s announces their fitness training sale. Kung may gym kayo sa bahay ninyo, he has to charge double. Ian’s number is 09172046596.

Kung gusto niyo naman ng hunk na guwapo mag-train sa inyo, introducing Cesar Vargas for P1,500 an hour. He’s Costa Rican. You can email him at cvn_19hotmail.com.

Why are you so flawless? Who takes care of your skin?

I go to Dra. Mj Valdecanas at Zen Institute in T. Morato, Quezon City (09176217783/4410692). Meron din siyang branch sa D’Fort (8562027-28). I endorse this one. My secret to a clean face is having a facial once a week even if I am pregnant. Doc Mj uses safe products that are preggy-friendly.

I’m a Ponds baby kasi my mom uses Ponds when when she was younger up to now. I have no endorsement/ex-deal contract with Ponds pero I grew up using it because of my mom—cold cream as make-up remover, facial wash, toner. During the cold weather I use Cetaphil to wash my face kasi di nakaka-dry ng skin. When I feel like splurging, I use Oil of Olay moisturizer kung feeling ko nagkaka-lines na ako. Hehehe.

What make-up do you use?

I use Jane Iredale mineral make-up. Kapag may taping ka kasi, mula 9:00 a.m. hanggang 7:00 a.m. the next day, naka-make-up ka. Kung hindi mineral make-up ang gamit ko, nagka-clog na pores ko at siguaradong may pimples na ‘ko the next day.

I used to buy it by bulk in the U.S. Thank god, may nakaisip mag-distribute dito. Call Ivy at 09235849706/ 7559134. Check this picture out.

Shoes?

Jimmy choo! I don’t have any endorsement/ex-deal contracts with Jimmy Choo but I love their designs. Pero ngayong buntis ako Naturalizer—sobrang comfortable.

Is your hair naturally straight and beautiful?

No, my hair is really kinky-curly. My high school classmates would tease me that I has a phd—pub*c hairdo!

To keep my hair healthy (pag nagpa-rebond ka kasi, may tendency na magmukhang patay ang buhok mo), I only buy one rebonding chemical imported from Japan and distributed by only one source—Mondes. Call them to order the Prosil Rebonding Chemical and straightening iron—7220441/7212247/7214425.

These are just some of my secrets. Next blog ko, I’ll reveal more…
